Chapter Two

Welcome to the second chapter of my Creation to Future Challenge. These are our placeholders for this story. This is my simself Holley, my husband Matt and our son Ethan. Aren't we cute?
Ok guys! MOST of the same rules apply to you too, so let's get fishing.

 Just a quick recap for everyone. I am playing Joandsarah77's Creation to Future Challenge.
I created two married sims and am having them raise a family in the wild. They completly live off the land. No grocery stores, just fishing and gardening. As they gain badges and skills they unlock things which make their lives easier and propel them into the future.

 When we last left them, Eve was expecting the third of the four children that are required in the challenge. Eve recently realized that the *ahem* kissing, not the sandwiches they were eating, was causing the pregnancies. I promised her I would let Adam also figure that little detail out on his own.

 This is Caine, the first born son. He has one nice point and he wants to be the heir so he can take over the world.

 This is Abel. He is the second son. Despite Caine's one nice point, Caine and Abel are lifelong best friends. They are inseparable. Abel also believes Caine should be heir. I have no idea why, since he would be a shoe in with his 9 outgoing and 9 nice points.

Caine "When I take the world it will be great. I won't have to do chores anymore and I will go hiking all day. I like hiking and fishing, so that's all i'll do. And everyone will have to do what I say too. I will become the best hunter in the world. I will have a new fur for everyday of the week."

 Caine "Won't it be great Abel? I can just see it now."
Abel " Who would do the chores if you don't Caine? And didn't god say you had to marry a girl, like Mom and have babies. You'll have to take care of them too"

Caine "No, no. I already told her that I wouldn't do that. Besides, look around. There isn't anyone else around here but us. How can I get married if we are the only people in the world?"
Abel "But, "
Caine "Don't you want me to be heir Abel? You're not thinking of trying to be heir, are you?"
Abel " No Caine, you will be heir."
Caine "That's right!"

Later that night Adam was a little hungry and went out for a snack. As he was finishing up a lunch meat sandwich, Baron, the Pack leader, decides to pay a visit.
Abel "Dog, you sure are brave. Don't you know who I am? Notice this fur I am wearing? maybe it was one of your cousins."
Baron begins growling at Adam.
Adam "You don't scare me. Why are your eyes glowing? It doesn't matter. Your just a dumb dog. I would get out of here before I decide my family needs some more clothes or a new rug."


Baron decides to leave, but not before he digs a few holes on there lot.

The next morning Adam decides his family does need some new clothing or possibly a new rug.
Adam "Okay boys, your mother is going to have another baby soon and it is getting colder and colder outside. A wild ferious animal came into our lot last night and threatened me. Since you are now old enough, you two shall come with me on the hunt.
Caine "All right! That animal is Toast!"
Abel "Can't the baby just wear the hand me downs? Do we really need more clothes Dad."
Caine "You can never have too many clothes, besides it threatened Dad."

 Adam "That's right! I will not rest until the animal who dug that hole is a rug on my floor. Are you ready boys?"
Caine "Alright, let go hunt a wild animal!"

 There was no sign of Baron during the hunting expedit, but they did discover another hive of bees.

Caine "When I am heir, I will get rid of all the bees!"

 The next morning Eve looked outside their door and was puzzled.
Eve "What's all that white stuff Adam?"

 

Winter had decide to show up and cover their land in a thin sheet of snow. Unfortunately it also froze the lake before Adam earned his Gold Fishing Badge. So there will be no easel to skill creativity this winter.

It snowed the entire day and soon a thick blanket of snow covered the lot. Eve managed the earn her gold gardening badge. YEAH! That will come in handy keeping the plants healthy until it is time to Harvest them.

Eve "Don't worry little plant. Even thought the sky is full of clouds, my voice will keep you healthy and strong. We need your fruit to eat during the long winter. Soon spring will arrive and we will use your seeds to plant more plants. It is the way of things, the Circle of life"

 Since the lake was frozen over the rest of the family decided to spend the day playing in the snow.
god "Uh, Adam, your looking a little blue. Maybe you should go take a bath and relax in bed a bit."
Adam "I-I-I-I'm-m-m-m-m-m-m-m, n-n-n-n-n-no-o-ot-t-t-t-t-t-t- c-c-c-o-o-o-o-old.
Obviously Adam has a problem controling his body temperature. First he faints from heat exhaustion during a hike and now he is about to freeze to death.
god "I would really feel better if you went to take a bath and relax a bit. Just until your not blue anymore, ok?
Adam "Who-o-o-o is g-g-g-gon-n-n-na f-f-f-f-finish-sh-sh F-f-frost-t-t-t-y?
Caine "Don't worry Dad. I'll do it."

 Yeah, I don't think I need to comment on this picture.

Caine "You don't like my snowman?"
god "It has horns and a pitch fork."
Caine "It is an evil snowman. I am going to build an army of them."
god "Ok, have fun. Just don't freeze to death."

 Abel "I, uh, like your snowman Caine."
Caine "Thanks, Bro! Would you like to help me build an Army of Evil Snowmen?"
Abel "I think I am going to go see if Dad's ok."

 

During there discussion earlier, Caine was right, there didn't seem to be any other person, anywhere. In fact Caine is two days away from his teenage birthday and he hasn't brought anyone home on the bus. The challenge says that they are alone in the new world until one of their children bring another child home off the bus. I was getting a little worried, until Abel finally brought this townie boy Gallagher home.

Abel "Hey, you should meet my brother Caine. Once he becomes heir, he is going to take over the World!"
Gallagher "Cool!"

 Gallagher "I heard you are going to rule the world Caine. That's rad!"

Caine "That's right. Where did you come from Gallagher? You don't know any girls do you?"
Gallagher "Oh yeah, I have met a few girls down at the beach. Why do you want to know about girls? Girls are weird."
god "Looks like your out of luck Caine. If you are going to be heir, you have to get married and have children."
Caine "We'll see about that."

Gallagher "Dude, What's up with your brother?"

Abel "He doesn't want to get married and have children. But since he is going to heir he has to. Don't worry about him. Do you want to go fishing?"
Gallagher "Actually it's kind of late, I gotta go."

So Gallagher leaves before I can get their relationship score up. Oh Well.

 Time for baby number three to arrive. 

Eve "Do, I really have to do this one more time? Oh god, it hurts so much!"

Adam "Maybe you should stop eating the sandwiches and stick to the fish for awhile honey."
Eve "It's not the Sandwiches Adam! Ouch! I don't want to do this again!"
Adam "What do you mean it's not the sandwiches? What else could it possibly be?"
Eve "AARRRGGGHHH! Now is not the time Adam!"

 Welcome Ivah, the first girl born into the family. Let's hope my genetic luck holds out and she is a cute kid.
Adam *If it's not the sandwiches what could be causing this?*

 Abel "All right a little sister! You did good Mom."

 Caine "Great! No competition for heir!"

 Eve "Would you like to hold her Adam?"

Adam "Yes! Hello little girl, i'm your Daddy! Your beautiful, just like your Mommy."

The next day it was time for Caine to have a birthday. As a teen, Caine's number one priority will be to find a future spouse from the townie teens. Even though he has no interest in girls, I have a feeling the first teen girl he sees will change his mind...hehe. Caine, and said teen, needs to become friends and court without the use of the phone. He will also stay home often from the bus to learn the skills necessary to support his future family.

 god "Are you ready to be a teenager Caine?"
Caine "You bet, one step closer to heir. And with my Platinum aspiration there's no stopping me. I will grow up Great!"

Caine "Alright! Nice and strong!"

god "Your actually quite handsome Caine. You have your fathers square jaw, your nose isn't too big and your eyes are gorgeous. I don't think you will have any problems finding a wife."
Caine "You heard Gallagher, girls are weird. I am not marrying a weirdo god, sorry."

Caine's aspiration is Knowledge (I rolled for it). His turn on's are blond hair and a good cook. His turn off is make up. I haven't choose a secondary aspiration...yet.

 Curiosity go the better of Caine and I sent him to the beach.
Caine "I hope I don't see any weird girls there."

 Caine didn't see any girls at the beach, but he did meet another teen boy named Oralndo Bertino. They hung out by the fire and became friends pretty quickly, despite Caine's one nice point.

 Just as he was leaving he spotted the teen girl Ivy Copur.

Caine "Oh my god, what is that?"
god "That's a girl Caine."
Caine "She is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen."
god "Don't be dramatic Caine, you only have one bolt for her. She doesn't even have blonde hair. Caine! It's not nice to stare, why don't you go over and say hi?"
Caine "No! What if she doesn't like me, or thinks i'm a weirdo?"
god "She will think your a weirdo if you keep staring. There's no pressure since I doubt she is going to be your spouse. So go use your one nice point and talk to her."

Caine "Hi, uh, i'm Caine"
Ivy "Hi, i'm Ivy."
Caine "That's a pretty name. Do you want to go fishing with me, or er, take a hike?"
Ivy "Actually it's kind of late. I was going to leave. Maybe I will see you some other time?"
Caine "uh...yeah...sure."
god "That was good Caine. You didn't insult her once."
Caine "uh, god? I think I will get married. Girls don't seem that bad."
god *chuckles* "Good!"

 So, since Ivy wasn't blonde and didn't have many cooking skills, I decided that Caine was a closet Romance Sim. So his secondary aspiration is Romance.
After that he had no problems with the ladies.
Caine "god, isn't she great?"
god "She doesn't have blonde hair Caine. Ask her about her skills."
Caine "So, what are you good at?"
Ginger "I'm not really good at anything."
Cine "Oh, she's PERFECT!"
god "...er... I don't think so."

 Caine "I doubt god will let me marry you, but how about we flirt a bit and maybe have a romantic hug?"
Ginger "hehe"

 Caine wasn't the only one making friends. Guess who decided to walk by the lot?

Abel "Hi. i'm Abel."
Marsha "WOW! your cute. My names Marsha. I am really annoying as a kid, but I grow up, well. Just wait till you see me as a teen."

Abel kept pestering Caine until he finally relented and took Abel to the beach.
Abel "Caine, I think I am going to marry Marsha when I grow up.
Caine "Why would you want to limit yourself to just one lady. There are so many girls out there Abel, Carpe Diem man!"

 Eve was getting worried. It was almost time for Ivah to have a birthday and she would have to have another baby. Adam hadn't brought up their conversation about the sandwiches again, which was good. She also hoped she could postpone the kissing a bit longer. Not that she didn't like the kissing. She was just afraid to have anymore babies. Her body wasn't the same anymore and she was ALWAYS tired.
She had so many responsibilities she had little time to rest. Since she had a Gold gardening badge, she was the only one who could keep the plants happy until spring. She was also the sole care taker of Ivah, who demanded a tremendous amount of time from her. Everything left her weak and tired. The last thing she needed right now was to find herself carrying another baby.

 Adam "I've been thinking about that conversation Eve. The one where you said babies don't come from sandwiches. Where do you think they come from?"
The moment she had been dreading was finally happening.
Eve "I don't know Adam. I just wasn't thinking right then. But, if it were the sandwiches wouldn't you and the boys have babies too?"
Adam "Yeah, I guess your right. I wonder what's causing it then. You know, it's about time for Ivah's birthday Eve. The boys can help with her care and you and I can have some private time again. In fact she's napping now and Caine took Abel to the beach."

 Caine "Why don't we snuggle a bit?"

Eve enjoyed her private moments with Adam. Since they had started their family the moments became fewer and fewer. But she was scared. Childbirth was painful and raising babies was hard. She didn't really see why they needed to have anymore children anyways. They already had a lot of mouths to feed and soon Caine would be grown and become heir. She had never refused Adam, but she just didn't want anymore babies.
Eve "No Adam. I am really tired. I was hoping to take a nap now. Why don't you go down to the beach with the boys, ok?"

 Adam "You can sleep after, we haven't.. in awhile. You don't want to?"
Eve ignores Adam's last question. With her voice a little harsher than she meant to she responds.
Eve "I can't sleep after, I have to feed Ivah later. Why don't you go make sure the boys are ok. I want to sleep a bit."
With that, she rolls over and closes her eyes. She knew she had hurt his feelings, but she just couldn't...until he understood.

 Adam *She doesn't want to kiss me. What's wrong? She never...why would she say no?*

 On the way to the beach, Adam thought about Eve's reaction to his suggestion. If he didn't know any better, he would think she was scared of their private time and a little angry that he would ask. It didn't make sense to him. She knew he would never hurt her. He had provided for her and the babies she made. He had loved them too.
He was happy that Caine was growing into a fine man. Abel was a hard worker and was soon to be a teen as well. Ivah was the most beautiful creature he had ever seen, beside Eve. He would be happy when they were grown. It would take some of the burden off him and Eve. She was right, she was always tired. Ivah required a lot of attention and she was desperatly trying to keep the plants alive through the winter. He would ask Caine to help with the baby some more and let her get more rest. He would try again in a couple days when she wasn't so tired.
As his mind wandered he wasn't watching where he was going and got lost in the woods. Soon he saw a clearing and made his way towards it.

 As he broke through the trees he stopped. He had explored the whole area many times, but had never seen this place. He saw a woman up ahead and started towards her. Maybe she could help him find his way home.

 As Adam got closer his heart began to race. It appeared as if she was glowing. He become apprehensive about approaching her. Another woman appeared from the woods and approached the glowing figure. Suddenly the sky filled with light and an animal materialized.

 The Glowing woman and her cat approached the other woman and they began to speak. He was acting ridiculous. He sensed no danger here. He decides to speak to the women.

Adam "Excuse me, what is this place?"
Both women turned to look at him.
Steffi Dalton the infallablly good witch, who will now only be refered to as Steffi, spoke.
Steffi "Hello Adam. Welcome to Peerless Park. Do not be afraid, you are safe here."
Adam "How do you know my name?"
The other woman answered
Naenan "We know many things Adam. You appear to be troubled. Come fish in the pond and soon your thoughts will be clear."
For the first time, Adam studied his surroundings. When he left home the ground was covered in snow. There was no snow on the ground here. Adam looked at the pond. He had not been able to fish since the first snow fall. He thought of how happy his family would be to eat fresh fish.
Adam "Is this heaven?"
Steffi "No, only a place for those who are at one with nature, in harmony with their surroundings."

 As he fished he thought about Eve and his family. The more he fished the clearer his mind became. He thought about how Caine looked as he himself had looked when he was younger and how Abel had his eye color.
He realized their children didn't only come from Eve. The children seemed to be a blend of both Eve and himself. He realized it wasn't something that Eve was doing that caused the babies, but what they were doing together. It was the kissing, the alone time, their joining that was causing it. This realization made him think about Eve's reaction to him. He was right before. She was afraid, but of what? He didn't hurt her, but the child birth was painful. She was afraid to have another baby. She had realized what was causing it and was avoiding the cause. Child birth made her weak and tired. She had many responsibilities on top of caring for the baby and little time to rest. That would change immediatly. He needed to get home, but how?

 Adam "How do I get home from this place?"
Steffi "Your mind is clear and you are at peace now Adam. The way is known to you."
Immediately Adam knew how to get home, how to reach his family, how to get to Eve.
Adam "Thank You for all your help. I must go now."
Steffi "There is no need to thank us Adam. If your mind is ever confused you may always come fish in the pond."

 When he got home, it was still dark outside and snow was on the ground. Everyone was asleep. He wouldn't wake her now. He would let her sleep and rest. He would speak to the boys in the morning. Since he had the fresh fish they did not need all the fruit and vegetables. The boys would tend the garden and fix the meals. Caine would not be happy, but it was time for him to be more responsible. He would earn him place as heir.
Eve would rest and take care of the baby. She would gain her strength and once again enjoy their private time.

The next morning brought warmer weather, and soon the snow melted off the ground. Spring had come and there was much work to do. Adam had informed the boys that they were now in charge of the garden. Caine did grumble a bit about the extra work, but not as much as Adam thought he would. Maybe his son was growing up and becoming more responsible. As always, Abel went right to work and seemed to find joy in it.

 In his free time Caine continued his search for a wife. While he and Randy London, another townie boy he befriended were fishing, Ivy stopped by the beach again.
Caine "Hi, Ivy! would you like to join us fishing?"
Ivy "Hi Ciane, sure. Who's your friend?"
Randy "My name's Randy."
The three teens fished and talked the rest of the afternoon and became friends. I am very proud of Caine. Even though he only has one nice point he seems to make friends easily. He is shaping up to be a good heir. I guess Abel was right, Caine will be heir.

 Adam "Caine, I am very proud of you. You have grown into a very responsible young man. You have really helped around here by taking on the gardening responsibilities. They will come in handy when you are heir and need to provide for your family. So how's the wife hunting going?"
Caine "Well, I have met some girls, but god says there not good enough. It's like she know who it will be and isn't telling me. I don't see why I have to stick to just one girl anyways. Why can't I have multiple wives?"
Adam "Believe me Son, one is enough. When you find her, you'll know."
Caine "Ok, but I still think it would be better to have more than one."

 That evening it was time for Ivah's birthday.
Caine "Happy Birthday to you..."
Eve "Woohoo, my baby girl is growing up!"
Caine "Is this over yet, I got a date."

 god "Oh, you are cute. Your mouth is a bit big, but you'll grow into that."
Adam "Who's my pretty girl?"
Ivah "Me! me Daddy pretty girl!" *i'm going to have everyone wrapped around my little finger.*

Ivah is a Gemeni. She has 3 sloppy, 9 outgoing, 10 active, 4 serious and 5 nice points.

 Adam "Caine, why don't you guys take Ivah out to play. I need to talk to your Mom."
Caine "Come here Ivah. Let's go play outside."
Ivah "Kiss Ivah Caine!"
Abel "Yeah Caine kiss her." *snicker*
Caine "Your new around here Ivah. I only have one nice point. I don't kiss."
Ivah "Kiss Ivah *giggle* me pretty!"

 As the children went outside Adam went to sit next to his wife. He had not told Eve of his hike to Peerless Park or how he finally knew where the babies had come from. He had just let her rest. She had protested a bit when he told her Cain and Abel would do the gardening. But she agreed it was best when Adam explained Caine needed to take on more responsibilities if he was to be heir.
Eve's heart sank when Adam sent the children away. Adam had not asked her to kiss since the night she hurt his feelings and refused him. Now that Ivah had grown she no longer had a reason to say no. She was a bit afraid when Adam sat down beside her. What would she say?
Eve "Since Ivah is grown now I can start the gardening again Adam. Maybe I should go pull some weeds while there is still light?"
Adam "No, Ciane and Abel can do that. I need to talk to you Eve."
Eve "It's still a bit cold outside, maybe I should go get Ivah?"
Adam "I know where the babies come from Eve."
Eve "You do?"
Adam "Yes, and I know you are scared."

 Eve didn't say anything. Adam drew her closer.
Adam "Your scared to kiss me because it leads to other things. it's what causes the babies. Child birth is painful. I can not claim to know how painful it is, but if I could I would feel the pain for you. I can tell you that I will be there by your side if our joining creates another baby. I love you Eve and I enjoy our private times and I know you do too. Please do not be afraid anymore. Please kiss me.

 Eve "Oh, Adam I love you too.
And she kissed him.

 I caught Eve several times the next day with this pose. We all know what that means.
 I felt really bad though because she never actually puked with any of the other kids. But that night she puked a couple times.
Eve "god, this really sucks."
god "yeah, I know. I'm really sorry. I hope there aren't twins in there."
Eve "What are twins?"
god "er..."
Eve "WHAT ARE TWINS!"
god "Twins are more than one baby."
Eve "More than one... NO! I can't have twins!"
god "Well you could, you are a family Sim. Believe me I don't want you to have twins either."
Eve "What am I going to do?"
god "Don't worry. We don't know for sure. Besides, what did Adam say? He will be there by you. And the kids are helping out a lot, so you'll be ok."
Eve *sobs* "Two babies."

 The next morning Eve popped and like always Adam was very happy. Eve decided not to tell him about the possibility of twins.

 Adam "Look Ivah, your going to be a big sister. Mommy has a baby growing inside her."
Ivah "Baby! In Belly!" *I hope it's not another girl, I want to be the only daddies girl around here.*

 Well, Ivah sure did have everyone wrapped around her little finger. Abel received a lot of aspiration points for becoming her best friend. That's a good thing since today is his birthday. Everything is working out well for Abel. He and Marsha are good friends so I will be able to grow her up with him. He already has a bronze badge in fishing and gardening. His life really couldn't get any better right now.

Ivah's life was pretty good to. She learned to walk from Adam.
Adam "What a big girl you are. And so pretty. Your Daddies little princess sweetheart."
Ivah "Daddy girl! Princess! Kiss Ivah Daddy!"
Adam "I sure will."

 She also got potty trained by an ever expanding Eve.
Eve "I heard that! Look at me i'm a cow!"
god "No, your just pregnant Eve. Besides Adam really doesn't seem to mind."
Eve is on the verge of becoming a fat sim. That fresh food is really making it hard to keep this family fit. Since there is no way to build body points right now I am struggling.

 That night everyone gathered around Abel as he stood in front of the cake.
Eve "Happy Birthday to you..."
Adam "Woohoo my boy is growing up!"
Ivah "Abel get big! Want Cake!"

 Good Luck Abel! Hope your still cute.

 god "Wow Abel, your HOT! You and Marsha are going to make cute babies."
Abel "Did she grow up with me?"
god "Yes she did. Once again your life is good and simple. No complications."
Abel "Sweet!"
Abel is a family Sim. His turn ons are red hair and creativity. His turn off is make-up.

 The next evening it was time for Ivah to grow up. She is the princess of the family and she made friends with everyone. She even made best friend with Adam, Eve and Abel. Caine was too busy fishing and going to the beach looking for a wife.

 Eve "Happy birthday to you..."
Abel "Way to go Ivah!"
Adam "My baby girl is growing up too fast."
Caine "Is this over yet, I have a date."

 Well she's just gorgeous. I am so glad she got cute CC hair.

 The next day Abel caught Marsha walking by.

god "Are you going to ask her to go steady?"
Abel "Yes! I hope she says yes."

 Caine "Hey bro, don't blow it!"
Abel " Shut Up Caine. Marsha, since the first day I met you I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you. Since we are still too young to get married, will you go steady with me?"
Marsha "Of course I will you silly head!"

 After Marsha said yes, Abel took her to a more private spot and had his first kiss.

 Caine "Dude, your Marsha sure did grow up HOT! Did you kiss her man?"

 Abel "Uh, Caine that's private and really non of your buisness."
Caine "Oh yeah, you kissed her. Your face is getting all red. How was it? Did you use your tongue like I said?"
Abel "Caine! I am not going to talk to you about this."
Caine "Wait till she lets you touch her boo..."
Abel "Caine! Stop talking about her like that or i'll punch you in your mouth."

Caine *scoffs* "Yeah, i'd like to see you try. My chores are done. I was going to go to the beach do you want to..."

 Abel "Do I want to what Caine? Caine!"
Caine had stopped talking because he saw something. It was the most beutiful sight he had ever beheld. She was an angel sent to him by god and she would be his.
Abel "Dude! Are you ok?"

 Caine ignored his brother and walked toward the heavenly creature. All thoughts of the other girls escaped his mind. "There she is!", he thought as he raced towards her.

 Meadow "Hi, i'm Meadow."
Caine"........"
God "Caine, your staring again. Say something to her. Please don't screw this up."
Meadow "Are you ok?"
Caine'"...uh... i'm Caine. Will you marry me?"
Meadow "Excuse Me?"
god *groan* "You just met her Caine. She doesn't know you at all. TALK TO HER!"
Caine "Your hair is really pretty. It reminds me of the sun."
Meadow *giggles* "Thank You."
Caine "And your eyes are like pools of clear water."
god "Wow! That wasn't bad."
Caine "Would you like to come fish with us?"
Meadow "Sure!"

 Meadow "Caine, I think your eyes are pretty too. They remind me of the Sea right after a storm."

 Wow! That was quick!

 By the end of the day Caine and Meadow were VERY close.
Meadow "Do you see how that one looks like a Puppy Dog?"
Caine "We don't let dogs on our lot. It looks more like a horse to me."

 Adam "Eve check out this one. How about we have a party tonight to celebrate Caine finding his future wife."
Eve "Adam. I think it's time."
Adam "They can't get married yet, they're to young."
Eve "No Adam, I meant it's time for the baby to come."

 Ivah "Mom, are you ok?"
Eve "Yes! *poof pant* Mommy's just having a baby dear. It's ok. It's really not as bad as it looks. AARRGGHHH!"

 Adam "I love you Eve, I know it hurts. Remember, i'm right here.
Eve "Ok, Oh god, Here it comes."

 Adam "Woohoo! Another boy!"
god "Welcome Seth! I am so glad your not twins!"

 Ivah "Yes! A boy. I'm still Daddy's only little girl."

 So here I leave you reader. Adam and Eve now have their four children. Caine and Abel have found there future wives, and Ivah already has her bronze badge in gardening. Everything seems to be chugging along nicely. Yeah, so I just realized I probably should have written some sort of cliff hanger here so you would be inclined to read my next chapter.  Thanks for taking the time to read.
